When we have successfully won a commission the first step is to visit the site. We call it the recce. This initial visit enables us to assess the site from a creative aspect and also from a health and safety point of view. We discuss the health and safety issues involved, which determines what we can and can’t do creatively. We need to assess possible camera positions in relation to getting the best shot but also think about the safety issues involved operating the cameras and accessing them during the everyday site workings.
Usually our crew will undertake the induction process during this visit in preparation for the installation of the cameras and any subsequent visits. Much of our health and safety knowledge comes from producing INDUCTION VIDEOS for clients. Our thorough knowledge of these issues means we are always on our toes whilst on site. This enables us to foresee any problems that might arise.
Some sites require that we wear supplied PPE but we are always prepared. We have our own PPE including safety harnesses.
We take Health & Safety very seriously. Our staff are safety accredited to work safely in most industrial environments.
